ABOUT KIP HODGKINSON
Since
demolishing his Mother’ sofa at the tender age of 7 “Our Kip” has
been playing drums and percussion ever since. He’s been on a varied
musical journey of 60's, blues, folk rock and Cajun music, playing with a
number of different bands over the years. He toured Canada with “The
Kaye Brothers Flying Circus” who were well respected in their time.
He’s drummed with a group called “Cosmic Charlie”, a Grateful
Dead tribute band.
Kip enjoys all kinds of music with – as he puts it – “lots
of drumming in it” and over the years, he’s been involved in
a number of recordings. He says he enjoys playing with Jigabit but would
like to Jigabit while he’s drumming – bless ‘im!
Kip lives with his long time partner Susan and their two cats, Fred and Harry.
