How far ahead do we need to book a Band and Caller?
Book your band and caller as far ahead in time as possible to assure getting
best choice of the best bands. Some people plan well in advance – up
to 18 months ahead – and others leave it much closer to the day.
3 – 6 months ahead seems to be an average. I recommend that you don’t
leave it until the last minute, as the better bands WILL be booked up.
I have known people who expect to book a band at 2 weeks’ notice
and they are disappointed that everyone’s already booked!
